Does your child enjoy tactile hands on experiences? In this all day class, kids will be guided through a textile, wire and beading arts and crafts experience by one of Strength Heroes’ talented artists. They will learn new skills and let their creativity flow as they complete artsy activities of weaving, drawing using paint pens and sculpting.  Kids will create a colourful paint and woven face hanging piece and  a straw, wire and wool 3D creature sculpture of their own imagination.

In this Fringeworld 2021 award winning workshop, kids will learn skills to help them learn to conquer their mistakes, practice gratitude, support their self-esteem and develop resilience in a fun play and artful way.

Art techniques: weaving, drawing with paint pens, zen tangles.

BYO a willingness to try and learn from mistakes. Kids need to bring their imagination, morning tea, nut free lunch and drink bottle. All materials supplied and children get to take their creation home. Dress for mess, aprons provided.
