Wet Felting 3-D Vessels

In this workshop, you will be taught the method of wet felting to create three-dimensional vessels and forms, no prior experience is necessary. These organic shapes vessels can be displayed as artworks, decor, or sensory objects, and make excellent gifts. Wet felting, as opposed to needle felting, is a quick process using hot water and soap to agitate, rub and felt wool fibres together. We will be using dyed and un-dyed Merino wool, sourced from Australia to create original vessels exploring texture, colour and form. Participants will also get to take home materials to keep them going at home.

Please note: this workshop involves a lot of water and you might get wet! You will receive a pair of gloves to keep, and towels will be provided for tabletops and laps, however, you are welcome to bring an apron if that makes you feel more comfortable.
