Very Arty Paint Day
with Strength Heroes (Ages 6-12)

Does your child enjoy painting? Do you like the idea of painting but don’t love cleaning up the mess? In this all day class, kids will be guided through a number of our very favourite painting techniques by one of Strength Heroes’ talented artists. These include wax resist, stencilling, bubble painting scratching and stamping.
They will also learn to mix colours and how to blend. They will learn new skills and let their creativity flow as they complete a painting of their choice on their own canvas they will get to take home. Kids will be guided to choose a theme and the techniques they will use. They also learn watercolour techniques and create a number of cute animal creatures. Each child will receive a watercolour and brush to continue their watercolour adventures after the class.
In this workshop, kids will learn skills to help them learn to keep trying, conquer their worries, practice gratitude, support their self-esteem and develop resilience in a fun play and artful way.
