The Art Space Collective reserves the right to refuse entry to customers if not shown proof of vaccination on arrival to the space. In this 3 hour workshop you will make 3/4 bowls

The ancient art of pinch pots is a great way to start your clay making journey or rekindle/ refine existing skills.

The nature of working this way helps you slow down, get a feel for the clay and once immersed you naturally start working instinctively. It’s a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Della will guide you through the creative process and teach you skills to get the desired shapes and patterns on your bowls.

Once bowls are made and dry Della will :
1. load into her kiln for a bisque fire
2. glaze in white satin, food safe non toxic.
3. fire again in kiln at a hi temperature.
4. your finished glazed bowls wills be available for collection within 3 weeks or earlier from the Art Space.

All your bowls will be food safe, oven proof, dishwasher and microwave safe although it is
recommended to be very cautious with sudden changes in temperature.

All materials will be supplied but you can bring in any drawings of shapes you like and objects to try for pattern making, but plenty will be available.

Please bring an apron or wear old clothing as clay can get messy.
Afternoon tea will be provided and a homemade gluten free sweet treat.

Shorter nails recommended.
