Activities: Drawing, watercolour painting and Clay Sculpture

Is your child a junior hands-on learner who likes to create things from scratch? This workshop with Strength Heroes is a fantastic way to get your child into a creative environment that will help them thrive. In this all day workshop, your child will learn new drawing skills. They will also create a clay “My Warrior” which will remind them of how to keep trying when they make a mistake or things don’t go to plan.

Not only will your child learn some new art skills, our activities will help them explore mistake making and develop the skills to keep trying. Imagine your child dealing with mistakes and facing worries with confidence and a growth mindset. In this workshop, they will also be provided with tips and tricks to build their resilience and unleash their strengths to tackle problems and mistakes, or bounce forward when things go wrong.

Knowledge Required
This fun workshop is for all skill levels. No experience needed.
What you’ll get
We will engage your children for the entire day in this entertaining and thought provoking workshop.
Kids will take home all of their finished art pieces, as well as the special tips and tricks they’ve learnt in the class.
What to bring
Kids need to bring a water bottle, morning tea, a nut-free lunch and their imagination. BYO a willingness to try learn from mistakes! Dress for mess, aprons provided.
Suitable for
This is a fun indoor activity, suitable for kids (minimum 6 years old). Adult accompaniment is not required.
