Mistake Me!
with Strength Heroes (Ages 6-12)

Is your child a keen creative? In this fun all day class kids will be guided through the arts and crafts experience by one of Strength Heroes’ talented artists. They will learn new skills and let their creativity flow as they complete artsy activities of acrylic painting, drawing and clay. They will be challenged to explore how it feels to make a mistake and be given some tools to help when they make a mistake or experience disappointment. They will also use their strengths to deal with the challenge of making a clay sculpture.
Not only will your child learn some new art skills, they will also explore and celebrate mistake making, happy accidents and great results that come from them. This workshop will help kids accept that mistakes really are okay. They will also be provided with tips and tricks to build their resilience and unleash their strengths to tackle problems and mistakes, or bounce forward when things go wrong.
