Science meets art

Is your child a hands-on learner and budding scientist? This art-meets-science class will thrill the most curious of minds. In this workshop, kids will make a simple flipbook animation, discover the magical intriguing art of printmaking, be amazed by the science behind making marbled paper and more!
Not only will your child learn some new art skills, they will also explore how they can adopt a growth mindset and keep trying as they learn tricky skills and deal with unpredictable results. We also give them tips and tricks to build their resilience to tackle problems, mistakes or bounce forward when things go wrong.
Art techniques: drawing, printmaking, paper marbling and
BYO a willingness to try and learn from mistakes.
Paint smocks are provided but we encourage you to send your children in clothes that don’t mind a bit of mess.
Bring a healthy snack, nut free lunch and water bottle
