Magical Mandalas with Strength Heroes (Ages 6-12)

Does your child enjoy tactile hands on experiences? In this all day class, kids will be guided through a loose parts, textile, wire and beading arts and crafts experience by one of Strength Heroes’ talented artists. They will learn new skills and let their creativity flow as they complete artsy activities of mandalas. Kids will create their own watercolour painted mandala, a decorated clay mandala, and a 3D mandala using loose natural and recycled and painting that will help them calm down and grounded to face life’s challenges.
In this workshop, kids will learn skills to help them learn calm down techniques that will support their ability to emotionally regulate and deal with worries and keep trying when they face a challenge.
