Kids String Art
(Age 7-14)

Want to engage your child in something interesting, creative and totally original this school holidays? String Art is a cool new take on a striking old-fashioned art form – it’s a fun, hands-on activity that involves kids using hammers, nails and yarn to create a unique piece of wall art to be proud of. String Art engages children in many ways – it is ideal for developing fine motor skills, promotes hand eye co-ordination, visual perception skills and concentration.

This fun and engaging workshop is suitable for boys and girls aged 7-14 years. On offer, a range of over 40 modern string art designs with everything from pineapples and owls to skulls and sharks. Each child will create their own unique string art masterpiece from start to finish.

All materials provided. Please bring a water bottle.

Children may get messy with some glue so please wear appropriate clothing. Closed-in shoes (no sandals or thongs) are required as the children are using nails and hammers.
Classes begin promptly at the stated time. We request that parents drop off their children; we don’t allow parents to stay for the duration of the class as we find this distracting for the kids (it also gives you a great break!)
Allergies: We provide morning/afternoon tea. Please be aware that although we take every care to ensure that the food is peanut free, we can’t guarantee this. If your child has a severe allergy please make sure they attend with any medication required.
