Clay Sea Creatures (Ages 6-12)
with Della and Bee from Arty Pants

In this 2.5 hr creative clay workshop Della and Bee from Arty Pants will guide children through the design and clay process to create a beautiful sea creature wall tile; fish, whale, turtle, jelly fish etc.. ready to hang!
Once the children have worked out their chosen sea creature with guidance from Bee and Della, they will experiment with various clay tools, everyday and natural found objects including leaves, shells, native nuts, seeds, etc.. to work out what patterns work best for their final design and sea background.
The children will select their ceramic stain colours in the workshop for Bee and Della to apply once their tile has dried, this takes 2-3 days, they will then go to Della’s kiln to be fired ready for collection within 7-10 days.
All materials included.
Can the children please bring a water bottle and snack.
