Clay Vase & Trinket Dish with Irene Schnieder

Create a clay vase and trinket dish for your home in a grounding, intention-setting clay play circle!

Irene will welcome you to the space with a welcoming drink to connect, then will open up to a more playful creative space where we will explore simple hand building techniques to create your own unique pieces and then decorating and etching into your creation.

Workshop includes all tools, materials, firing and glazing of your piece. The workshop will run for about 2.5 hours with enough time to decorate and create your clay pieces.

Following this workshop, Irene will bisque fire and glaze fire your pottery pieces and let you know when they are ready for collection (please allow a few weeks turnaround for your creations to be glazed and fired).

Whether you are new to clay or not this will be suitable for all!

// About Irene (the facilitator)

Irene is a qualified product designer, ceramicist and yoga/meditation teacher. Using clay as her favourite form of creative expression and mindfulness practice, she has been exploring and developing her pottery and ceramics practice for almost 20 years.

She has exhibited her ceramics in Milan International Design Festival and exhibitions around Perth. Her experience also includes working as a ceramic technician with local and ceramic artists and internationally in ceramic studios in London. Irene runs her design business @studiolokadesign alongside running mindful clay workshops and teaching yoga and meditation classes around Perth.
