** Due to the nature of our venue and the vaccination mandate required by the Government from Monday 31 January 2022, you will be required to show proof of vaccination upon entry to workshops/events. Shibori is the art of folding, binding, clamping and knotting to compress fabric to create a resist. Join Tanya from ‘Old Grey House’ for a three hour workshop and be inspired by this amazing indigo dye process. Learn how to prepare a dye vat and some basic Itajame and Arashi Shibori techniques. You will create and experiment on some test pieces to start with and then create either a silk/cotton scarf or linen table runner to take home. It may get a little messy but I promise it will be great fun! No experience is necessary.
