Amazing ME!
(Age 6+)

Resilient kids know their strengths and use them to facing challenges.
Children will explore self-esteem and the language of self-confidence, two concepts critical for resilient children. Children will use a variety of techniques including zen tangle, collage, painting and drawing to create artworks that celebrates their strengths and how truly amazing and unique they are. They will also create their own strengths totem using clay.
Each child will identify their strengths and through our playful art activities will explore:

• how to grow their strengths;
• how they can unleash them to tackle problems, mistakes or bounce forward when things go wrong.can use creativity as a tool to practice mindfulness;

Art techniques: zen tangle, collage, painting, drawing and clay.

BYO a willingness to try and learn from mistakes. Kids need to bring their imagination, morning tea, nut free lunch and drink bottle. All materials supplied and children get to take their creation home. Dress for mess, aprons provided.
