Nourish – Ceramic bowl, plate
and mug workshop

When we take the time to appreciate what we have, we are nourished.
In this workshop with Della you will create your own unique clay bowl, plate and mug to hold the food you love and savour the simple comfort of enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
This workshop is designed for absolute beginners and makers wanting to hone their skills.
You will learn a combination of hand building techniques and use various clay tools and natural objects ie, shells, plants , native seeds etc… to create surface decorations.
Once your pieces are made Della will fire and glaze them in a satin white glaze and you will be able to come and collect all pieces in approximately 2-3 weeks time.

To help nourish you while you are making Della will provide various herbal and regular teas, freshly plunged coffee and a homemade gluten free treat.

Please bring your creative self and an apron or wear old clothes everything else is provided including ; stoneware clay, samples, tools, firings and glazing.

Della is an experienced art educator and clay artist who loves teaching art, clay making and wanting to share that with everyone no matter how old. She loves making table ware, clay earrings, clay animal sculptures and tiny things.
