Dream Weaver

In this all day class, kids will be guided through a textile, wire and beading arts and crafts experience by one of Strength Heroes’ talented artists. They will learn new skills and let their creativity flow as they complete artsy activities of weaving, drawing using paint pens, beading and sculpting. Kids will create a colourful paint and woven face hanging piece and a straw, wire, bead and wool 3D creature sculpture of their imagination.
In this Fringeworld 2021 award winning workshop, kids will learn some skills to help them learn to conquer their mistakes, support their self-esteem and develop resilience in a fun play and artful way.
At the end of this class, kids will be left feeling creatively fulfilled, and armed with new skills to be able to continue on their artistic journey. Your child will also get to take home their final pieces so that you can hang them on the wall in your home.
This beginner-friendly art class is a fun experience for any kids looking to try out a new creative hobby or parents searching for fun things to do with kids in Perth.

What you’ll get
We will engage your children for the entire day in this entertaining and thought provoking workshop.
Kids will take home all of their finished art pieces, as well as the special tips and tricks they’ve learnt in the class.
What to bring
Kids need to bring a water bottle, morning tea, a nut-free lunch and their imagination. BYO a willingness to try learn from mistakes! Dress for mess, aprons provided.
Suitable for
This is a fun indoor activity, suitable for kids (minimum 6 years old). Adult accompaniment is not required.
As of 1st of July, Strength Heroes is required to collect GST on all workshops it runs at The Art Space Collective.
