Clay Pressing with Botanicals
with Mudlarks

What better way to spend the afternoon than playing with clay celebrating and embracing the cooler weather of the noongar season Djeran.
Think green, red flowering gums, banksias and lots more coastal and autumn garden foliage.

Della, from Mudlarks will guide you to hand build and mold clay into individual pieces and then you choose your foraged flowers and leaves to press into the clay.
This creates beautiful organic textures and designs.

This is a 2 part workshop
Saturday 6th April: 1-4pm is making and pressing your pieces then into the bisque fire they go.
Sunday 21th April: 2-4pm you return to colour your clay pieces using underglazes.
*You only need to purchase 1 ticket for both sessions

Della will then clear glaze and the pieces will get hi fired in her kiln.

Get down to earth and enjoy the mindful and artistic afternoons creating 4 or more pieces.

Feel free to bring your own botanicals and an apron.

Afternoon tea, French pressed coffee and homemade cake, gluten free included.
