Scarbizarre showcased the works of a select group of local artists. It was created on the premise that there is a pool of local talent requiring a vehicle to support and expose their pieces to the greater community. In this exhibition we were privileged to have Casey Temby as a temporary artist in residence creating live art in the form of a mural on one of gallery walls. In addition, local abstract artist Asher Stenning was involved in modelling an interactive community artwork project, ‘Make Your Mark On Scarbs’ for those visiting the exhibition. It was the first dedicated exhibition of its kind in Scarborough. Artists included:
- Asher Stennning
- Marite Norris
- Robyn Abbott
- Emma Barber
- Casey Temby
- Linda O’Brien
- Roslyn Nolan
- Denise Rix
- Marty Costello
